Our story

It started at our kitchen table.

We're Laura and Daniel Bennett, and this project started in 2024, at the same kitchen table where we were spending far too many hours working on our laptops.

At the time, both of us were working long days from home.

Daniel would often realise at 6pm that he'd barely moved from his desk.

Laura had started taking short walks between calls just to avoid spending the entire day sitting down.

Nothing dramatic happened.

There was no big “lightbulb moment”.

We simply started asking ourselves:

Why is it so difficult to take better care of your body during a normal working day?

It started with our own routine

Too much sitting. Not enough moving.

Laura was spending around 8–10 hours a day between her laptop, phone and meetings.

Daniel wasn't much better.

We both exercised occasionally, but we realised going to the gym a few times a week wasn't really solving the other part of the problem:

What were we doing during the other 23 hours of the day?

We started making small changes.

Standing up between calls.

Walking while answering emails.

Taking ten minutes away from the screen.

Nothing extreme.

But those little changes were much easier to maintain.

Then came the walking pad

The first change that actually stuck.

In early 2025, we brought a walking pad into our home.

At first, we thought we'd probably use it for a couple of weeks and then forget about it.

Instead, it became part of the room.

Laura started walking during calls.

Daniel would use it while watching football or catching up on emails.

Sometimes it was 15 minutes.

Sometimes 40.

Sometimes barely anything.

And that was exactly the point.

It didn't feel like another workout we had to schedule.

It simply made moving easier.

Lying on the stretching mat in the evening
But movement was only half of it

Some days you need to move. Other days you need to stop.

As we started moving more, we became more interested in what happened at the other end of the day.

Recovery.

Stretching.

Switching off after hours in front of a screen.

We tried different things at home, and gradually our idea became clearer:

We didn't want to build another fitness store.

We wanted to build a collection around the two things we kept coming back to ourselves:

Movement & Recovery.

Products that help you move when you've been sitting too long.

And products that help you slow down when the day is finished.

How we choose what makes it into the store

Our rule is surprisingly simple.

Before we add something, Laura and Daniel ask the same five questions:

  1. Would we use it ourselves?
  2. Can someone understand how to use it without reading a 40-page manual?
  3. Does it solve an everyday problem?
  4. Can it comfortably live inside a normal home?
  5. Would we still want to use it six months from now?

If we can't confidently answer yes, we keep looking.

Our living room: the dog, the slippers, the coffee and the products
A normal home. Not a home gym.

This is pretty much what our house actually looks like.

A laptop on the table.

Coffee that's probably gone cold.

A dog somewhere he's not supposed to be.

Shoes next to the sofa.

Work to finish.

Dinner to make.

And somewhere amongst all of that, a little time to move or recover.

We don't think wellness needs its own room.

It needs to fit into the one you already live in.

The people behind the store

Hi again. We're Laura & Daniel.

We're still a small team.

We still work from home.

We still spend more time sitting than we'd like.

And yes, some weeks we're much better at our routines than others.

That's probably why we're so interested in products that make things easier rather than more complicated.

We test what we bring into the collection.

We read customer feedback.

We remove things we wouldn't recommend ourselves.

And we're deliberately keeping the collection relatively small.

We'd rather have 10 products we understand than 500 products we don't.

What we've learned

Taking care of yourself doesn't have to become another job.

You don't need the perfect routine.

You don't need to train every day.

And you definitely don't need to wake up at 5am.

For us, it became much simpler:

Walk when you can.

Sit a little less.

Give your body time to recover.

And make it easy enough that you'll want to do it again tomorrow.

Where we're going

We're just getting started.

What began at our kitchen table has gradually turned into something much bigger than we expected.

We're continuing to look for simple, genuinely useful products for movement, recovery and everyday wellbeing.

And we're still using exactly the same question we started with:

Would we want this in our own home?

If you're here, thanks for being part of the journey.
